SERVICES

For any region, the many significant economic benefits of international trade can only be realized through the efforts of local businesses in successfully pursuing opportunities in foreign markets. Our principal field of practice is to assist government departments and agencies in providing appropriate and effective support to the business community in growing and diversifying its exports of products and services.

Our role is often to contribute to the difficult process of conceiving, planning and implementing policies to encourage export market development or to assist exporters in capitalizing on new market opportunities.  In many cases this requires direct consultation with businesses and trade specialists, supported by secondary research with respect to needs, issues, trends, markets, competition and other important determinants of success.

Our clients are government organizations, at all levels, with overall responsibility for economic development or mandates focussed on international business development. We are engaged to provide services for proposes which vary considerably from project-to-project. Principal applications of our work have included:

  • Strategic planning
  • Performance benchmarking
  • Opinion research
  • Market assessment and selection
  • Website copy
  • Priority sector analysis
  • Trade event planning
  • Program evaluation
  • New program development
  • Various printed materials
  • Research support
  • New exporter development
  • Background for trade mission participants
  • Trade training
